What does 'Pasuk' mean? The foundation’s name was made up by some sponsored childrend themselves. 'Pasuk' is the Philippine term for 'going to school'.
Which persons are eligible for scholarship? Our foundation focuses on Philippine youth who cannot participate in schooling due to want of money. We are currently active in the provinces of Cebu and Laguna.
Why are the study cost levels so high? Within ‘study expenses’ we include all money the students require for completing their studies. We do not limit the reimbursements to only school fees. Books, uniforms, food & beverage, transportation and school projects make studying an expensive endeavor, so these are included in the support too.
Can I have direct contact with my foster child? Yes, we assist sponsors in having direct contacts with the students.
Are my gifts tax deductible? Yes. Pasuk Foundation has been acknowledged as a so-called “ANBI” by the Dutch Tax Authority. Therefore your gifts are deductible for income tax.
