No peaceful Christmas in Cebu City – Early this morning, a massive fire destroyed nearly 400 homes in the Duljo-Fatima neighborhood, one of the areas where Pasuk Foundation operates. Over 3,000 people lost everything. A twelve-year-old boy died in the fire. The church building of our project partner “Cebu Bible Church” was unharmed, but the homes of 10 Pasuk children and 2 project volunteers were destroyed by this horrible fire. We are very grateful that none of the Pasuk children were injured. The families are currently being cared for in a nearby gymnasium. The volunteers from “Cebu Bible Church” are already busy providing assistance. Would you please pray for the Pasuk children and other people who have truly lost everything. That God will provide what is most needed now, such as safety, food, water, clothing, footwear, tents, mattresses, blankets, flashlights, cooking and eating utensils.
