I long for every child to have a hopeful future and eternal life with God
What always moves me most in the slum areas is the hopelessness I see in the eyes of the children. It deeply reminds me of the emptiness and aimlessness I once felt in my own life – before the Lord Jesus called me in 2013. Since becoming a Christian, I’ve come to see that God has “chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith” (James 2:5). It is my deepest desire that the Lord will use the Pasuk child development program to draw children and their families to Himself – for a hopeful future and eternal life with Him. And that through quality education, these children will grow into responsible, self-reliant adults who, in turn, will help others.

Making a difference in the lives of children is deeply valuable and a great privilege
It’s a joy to be part of the Pasuk board. I got to know the foundation through Martijn, who used to speak about it passionately in our previous churches. There came a moment when I sensed that God was inviting me to be open to new challenges within His Kingdom. In a special way, I came into contact with Martijn again—and it turned out that the position of secretary had become available. It was the perfect moment to step in.
Trying to make a difference in the lives of children is a great privilege. To show them who Jesus wants to be for them, while also offering practical support through education. The Bible speaks of God's great love for children, and I hope to contribute to that love through my work with Pasuk.
